BREAKING: Authorities investigating shooting in Lakewood; One hospitalized (VIDEO & PHOTOS)

A person has been hospitalized after a shooting in Lakewood this evening, police have confirmed to TLS.

The shooting occurred shortly after 9PM on MLK Drive.

Sources say approximate a dozen shots were fired, and a knife was also involved.

One victim was seen being treated on the street – though it’s unclear if he was shot or stabbed.

The victim was transported to JSUMC.

A person was taken into custody at the scene, though it was not immediately clear if the arrest was related to this incident.

An investigation is underway.

      Please do NOT tell the Lakewood PD “not to congregate”.

      When they will ask you for your opinion, you may offer one.

      Until then, just take your meds and keep to yourself.

  3. I think we should all treat each other with kindness & love like God would want us to. Praying for all the ppl affected by the.coronavirus no matter whAt faith they follow. May God be with you and the families that have the virus or someone that lost a person to it. God Bless everyone
