A person has been hospitalized after a shooting in Lakewood this evening, police have confirmed to TLS.
The shooting occurred shortly after 9PM on MLK Drive.
Sources say approximate a dozen shots were fired, and a knife was also involved.
One victim was seen being treated on the street – though it’s unclear if he was shot or stabbed.
The victim was transported to JSUMC.
A person was taken into custody at the scene, though it was not immediately clear if the arrest was related to this incident.
An investigation is underway.
