BREAKING: Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Lakewood

A pedestrian went into traumatic arrest and passed away after being struck by a vehicle at Madison Ave. and 4th Street in Lakewood a short time ago.

Hatzolah transported the patient to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus with CPR in progress, but doctors were unable to save her life.

According to initial reports, the patient was an intoxicated individual who was struck while standing in the middle of the road.

Traffic Safety has been called to the scene and the northbound lanes are currently shut for an investigation.

  1. @Bd You know what’s poor? Your comment is poor cause at the end of the day that person is love by someone and alcohol is a disease just like like drugs, only difference that is legal. Sometimes if you don’t have anything good to say, just stay quiet

  2. Are you suggesting that intoxicated people, dressed in dark clothing with dark skin, have less chance of justice if they are struck by a vehicle that is operated legally and safely?
    Would you suggest that car owners be prohibited from driving them, because there may be people disobeying the law in the streets?
