BREAKING: One Killed, Another Critically Injured in Jackson Accident [UPDATED]

BREAKING UPDATE: One person was killed, and another critically injured in the accident, police tell TLS.

Authorities in Jackson are responding to a serious accident in Jackson, TLS has learned.

The crash occurred on Toms River Road between Lakehurst and Dallas shortly after 2:00 pm.

Two people have been seriously injured, at least one said to be in critical condition.

UPDATE: JPD: Toms River Road (Rt. 571) is closed in both directions between S. Hope Chapel Road and Lakehurst Avenue.
