Just in. There has just been a double Hit and Run in the 7th and Madison area. According to preliminary reports, a red Honda Civic hit a vehicle on 7th and Private and then fled and hit another vehicle at 7th and Madison. Police have set up multiple checkpoints around the area. One witness said, he saw the car flee south, towards the lake. Anyone with information is asked to contact the LPD immediately.
U/D 7:10 p.m. Police are looking for a red Honda Civic which has considerable damage to the front of the car, including two flat tires. If you have any information, please call the LPD at 732-363-0200.
