  1. Carl, you made the right decision.

Thank You for all your service, and we wish you continued success on the BOE.

May You, Your Family, and all of our community and their families be blessed with a Happy Healthy Prosperous New Year!

  2. Albert, now you will be able to get the senior vote. You have the majority of the frum vote (HH got 70% of the Frum vote) Dont repeat HH mistake work on getting the senior vote

  3. It seems all the good people of Lakewood are always chatized for trying to do the right thing. Saving taxes was huge for the whole community and yet people still complain when individuals want to make a difference. I guess some will never change. Whats good for one community is not good for other communities

  4. TT mistake very costly.

Akerman a far more credible candidate for taxpayers, and an all around mensch. Plus he is independent. A slam dunk!

  5. very astute political analysis. you believe he will lower your taxes? how? 2 examples would be a bright ray of sunshine. but you keep looking through the rose-colored glasses. oy vey are we scr–ed.

  6. Independant season? Akerman is the king maker. He can choose to be with the Dems. or the Repubs. come Jan. 1st. Steve may just become part of the minority party! How’s that for a twist of fate?

  7. TT was not a mistake. It saved the taxpayers huge. This is a case of whats good for your community not ours, How about the $18M in bussing costs. Is this good for all Lakewood???
Isaac will do no more for taxes as his record on the planning board shows. Review his votes.
If he wins-HH wins. Bussing will be 40M in two years

  8. We have not heard from Ackerman at all. Why is everyone throwing him their support. Hershel was always out there discussing his plans for the taxpayer.

Albert, please come out and talk to the community on the issues that matter!!

  9. “Lakewood resident”, you ask “How about the $18M in bussing costs. Is this good for all Lakewood???”.

Is public school good for all Lakewood???

  10. You worry about $18 million spent on busing? At least you get value for your money. I worry about $138 million wasted on 6 out of 6 schools failing, year after year. Get your priorities straight. The only thing this district does right (most of the time) is the busing.
