JUST IN: A 24 yr old Neptune City man has just been arrested in connection with yesterday’s shooting of a Lakewood man on Williamsburg Lane, Detective Sergeant Greg Staffordsmith says.
Troy Dawson was taken into custody with the assistance of the US Marshal’s service moments ago in Asbury Park.
He has been charged with Attempted Murder, as well as other weapons related charges. Bail has been set in the amount of $500,000 cash only.

to #7 I lived in lakewood for 50 yrs of my life..I now live just outside town. I still have family left in this town. Just so you know.
Anyone 30 and under missed the real Lakewood. Use to be an awesome place to live.Great divesity. Great sports town.
