BREAKING: Jackson Township’s Attorney Quits Case

Sources tell TLS that Howard Mankoff, the lead attorney representing Jackson Township in Agudath Israel’s federal lawsuit alleging discrimination against Orthodox Jews, is no longer on the case.

Mankoff, who had been representing Jackson since Agudath Israel first filed the lawsuit, was “fed up” with the case, according to one source with knowledge of the situation.

Mr. Mankoff is now the third attorney representing Jackson in this lawsuit to leave the case. The first two were Jean Cipriani and Marci Hamilton.

Attorney Brent Pohlman, who is representing Jackson Township in the Jackson Trails lawsuit, will now take over as lead attorney for the Agudath Israel lawsuit as well.
