TEHILLIM: Five Hospitalized Following Wrong-way Head-on Collision on Rt. 70 in Lakewood [PHOTOS]

Five people were hospitalized following an early-morning wrong-way head-on collision in Lakewood, TLS has learned.

The two-vehicle accident happened around 4:00 AM when a vehicle carrying four people turned into the wrong direction of Route 70, colliding into one other vehicle occupied by a single driver.

All passengers sustained significant injuries and were transported to JSUMC with paramedics.

Earlier this month, a wrong-way driver on Route 70 caused an eight-vehicle accident.

Names for Tehillim will be published if they become available.

An investigation is underway.

  1. People from NY often get confused on the roads in NJ. They sometimes don’t get the jughandle turns, or the concrete medians. Driving at 4pm can also be challenging!
