[VIDEO BELOW] A body has been spotted in Lake Shenandoah moments ago, TLS has learned.
As first reported by TLS on Friday, authorities began searching the lake after receiving a report of a person possibly missing in the water.
Authorities searched for several hours on Friday and Saturday, with the assistance of a helicopter, and mutual aid from surrounding towns, but came up empty-handed.
This morning, a body was spotted in the water, police confirm to TLS. Sources tell TLS the body was spotted by a kayaker.
Police say they are currently making the recovery.
There hasn’t been a missing persons report in Lakewood, though it’s possible the body is that of an out-of-town resident.
The body appears to be of a middle-aged male, sources tell TLS.

wow so sad , people do not realize how dangerous this lake is. One time me & my husband were out there fishing and we saw a male jumping into the water like nothing .. there are snapping turtles and what not and people still go in these lakes . Township should do something about this .
#2, What do you propose the township do? Arrest people who swim? Give them citations? What type of government expansion are you demanding?
