  1. I was awakened by so many sirens this morning. I immediately went to TLS. They had already broke the story.

What I really want to say (as a 9/11 Police first responder with PTSD and illness that developed over the years and my intense involvement in the that newly created military Operation Enduring Freedom) it seems that in my 16 years in Lakewood I have never heard so many sirens as we have had recently. (I know it is not my imagination.) Needless to say with PTSD that over the years, the sound of a siren or planes is almost unbearable to me.

In the case of today’s fire I am glad that there were no injuries reported despite the priority and dangers inherent in a 2 alarm fire.

Thank God our brave firefighters are all okay and I thank them for the risks they take on our behalf everyday and always pray that my brothers and sisters get home safe.

What I am compelled to say is, with all the recent tragic and devastating news about sicknesses and those that are niftar at all ages, especially what seems like more and more tiny ones and teens, it is especially disturbing. There are no words to say and I am sure it is so for entire K’Hal.

Please let us all constantly pray that this Mageifah ends immediately and that Hashem will free us with the Geulah Shelaimah B’Karov.

Thanks for reading and a Good Shabbos to all.
