Firefighters are battling a car and home fire in Jackson.
The fire broke out shortly before 7:00 PM. It appears a vehicle fire set the home on ablaze.
There are no reports of injuries.

Something like this happened to my father. He had a Hyunday in his garage, the car was off, but at night the ABS system malfunctioned and spontaneously combusted, igniting the whole garage on fire. Apparently it’s a defect in some ABS systems and can happen even with a car that’s turned off.
