    • Maybe shut the heck up cuz CLEARLY that wasn’t an option!! I know this man personally and he’s not dumb. Obviously if he was able to, he would’ve. The guy opened the door, grabbed him and tackled him to the floor. When exactly should he call the police???? Don’t be stupid.

      • It appears to me that you did not read the beginning of my comment. I wrote that maybe now we have to start locking our doors, before we start driving. Till now thank God we had very few issues. Now it looks like, if we lock the doors, it will help a little bit, at least to buy some time.

  1. who would have believed that right here in the US an innocent man can get assaulted for refusing to get hijacked

  2. My daughter and a friend were schmoozing in the car on E.4th st at about 11pm. A man opened the rear car door and sat down. The girls were alarmed and screamed and jumped out. He got out and ran away. The police were called and they found him a block away. He was very apologetic, saying he had ordered an Uber and assumed that was the car. He didn’t explain why he ran when the girls noticed him. No charges could be brought.

  3. On a Friday there afternoon there would have been a lot of other cars nearby
I am surprised no one nearby saw what was going on
