BREAKING: Authorities Investigating $15 Million Stolen from the Lakewood School District

Authorities are investigating after $15,000,000 was stolen from the Lakewood School District, TLS has exclusively learned.

“The District was alerted that $15 million  dollars was stolen from their operating accounts by a not-yet-identified third actor,” an official told TLS.

The incident apparently occurred while the district was celebrating Presidents Weekend.

To date, the district has recovered approximately $8 million of the stolen funds, with the remaining $7 million being actively pursued.

Sources tell TLS that several million were traced to out of state, while the remainder was traced to out of the country.

Federal, State, County and Lakewood law enforcement agencies are involved.

  1. It will go nowhere. It will be like the last scandal the state said they did not have enough people to look into the scandal. Individuals stealing $ and benefits they were not entitled.
