Authorities this evening are investigating a shooting in Lakewood.
The shooting happened shortly after midnight in the south end of Lakewood.
There are no reports of anyone struck, though bullet holes were reportedly found in vehicles.
Multiple bullet casings for found on the street.
Lakewood’s Detective Bureau and CSI are investigating.

Anybody think maybe its time for us law abiding citizen have guns too or at least a gun license (take 40 minutes to sign up online and get fingerprinted and wait about 3 months) so u can buy a gun when you need one history does repeat itself

Like the [very nice, but also not quite at peak maturity] 21yr old kid who showed up to work for me, with a rifle (or whatever that huge thing was, i dont know guns) that he LEGALLY owns (he just wanted to show me, he brought me to his car afterwards.)
Or maybe it was a 15 year old, who got hold of his fathers gun?
The misconception out there that it helps to have guns is quite moronic. There’s a time and place for everything, but not every time and every place is proper for guns.

Without knowing any of my family personally, the commenter (Midnight) apparently holds that I (with 3 higher education degrees), my son and son-in-law (both physicians), and another son (a law enforcement officer) — who all have privately owned firearms — are morons! And being that we are among the millions of NRA members, I guess we are a part of a completely moronic population.

I’m sorry that I didn’t specify that u should also learn the laws about legal gun ownership ,have a safe and keep guns away from anybody that doesn’t know the danger of a gun and you are definitely right there is a time and place for guns, midnight (12:00) would be one of them
