A school bus accident on the Garden State Parkway in Brick this morning has sent 11 people to the hospital, officials tell TLS.
As first reported on TLS Status, the accident happened around 9:00 AM at approximately mile marker 90 northbound, just over the Lakewood border.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel called for multiple ambulances for the multiple injuries.
A total of three adults and eight children were hospitalized, officials say.
Traffic on the Parkway is backed up for several miles as a result.
Earlier this week, a school bus accident flipped on the Garden State Parkway, sending 13 people to the hospital, one with critical injuries.

It seems bus drivers need to be more experienced than current drivers being hired. Because of shortages in bus drivers and inexperienced and young drivers being hired will cause more of these accidents. Ban cellphone use while driving (even hands free). Make it mandatory all children on bus are buckled. See too many standing up and moving around bus. That too is a distraction to a bus driver.
why is a tesla equipped with interior and exterior sensors/cameras, and easy controls while achool busses which are very expensive and paid for by the government have not been updated in the past 70 years???
