Break-In At New South Side Sandwich Shop

PHOTOS of the break-in at the new South Side Sandwich Shop. The shop-formerly known as Berish’s Grill-was recently purchased by Yosef Mutterperl (Volunteer Firefighter for Lakewood Fire Department)- and is now in its third week of operation. The perpetrator broke through the fence, cut the electric to the store and rammed a hole leading to the back kitchen, where he made his way into the store. He made off with under $50 dollars and caused nearly $3,000 in damages. 2. I heard they were after the left over chulent from thursday night.

All serious, Yosef I hope you are ok. I know you and your wife try to help out any & every one when you can, and putting in the hours that you do working in SCHI in the morning then coming to your new store, Volunteering as a fire fighter in lakewood, you have made lakewood a nicer place to live.

    Have much hatzlacha.

    a friend

  3. Always one of the clssiest acts in town! Was thrilled when he bought the S.S.S.S. Lets mob the place not only to show support, but to get the best food, and friendliest service possible!

  4. I’ll be there every night! His bbq beef sandwich is out of this world.
Yosef always serves with a smile and is ready to please. If you need something, he’ll take care of it.
And he still finds time to learn. He’s amazing!!

  5. I’m sorry to hear that happened to you Joe. If nothing else, this is some great publicity!

P.S. Your battered hamburger and beef eggroll are to die for. I can’t wait to try something else.

  6. I came to see Yosef at his new store today and to wish him hatzlacha in his new business and I heard about the break in, all yosef said was GOM ZO L”TOVA. This is what Hashem wanted to happen, and he had a smile on his face as he was taking care of the customers.

Yosef you are in a class by itself. I would like to wish you again much hatzlacha and continue doing all your great work.

Please be safe when you go to fires also.
