BP Print Group this morning announced it will begin closing early on Fridays throughout the Winter, as a Zchus for Acheinu Bnei Yisroel.
Binyomin Heinemann released the following statement.
I am reaching out to inform you of an important forthcoming change to our company schedule.
During these challenging times, as our brothers and sisters in Eretz Yisroel confront a situation of sakanah and with hostilities escalating around the world, we have all intensified our tefillohs and recitation of Tehillim to invoke rachamei Shomayim.
Furthermore, because Rosh Hashana this year fell out on Shabbos, it has sparked a renewed emphasis and awareness on the importance of strengthening Shemiras Shabbos. We have all heard many incredible accounts of miraculous salvations associated with a heightened commitment to maintaining the sanctity of Shabbos, attesting to its protective powers.
In this spirit, I have pondered how we, within our business, can embrace a zechus to support Acheinu B’nei Yisroel. It stands to reason that we in America should also endeavor to be mechazek our own observance of kedushas Shabbos as a zechus and shemira.
A well-established minhag observed in Yerusholayim encourages refraining from work and closing businesses on Fridays after Chatzos.
Therefore, in a gesture of solidarity and as a zechus for Acheinu B’nei Yisroel, starting from Friday, November 10th, BP Print Group will close on Fridays at Chatzos throughout the winter months.
To ensure that our clients’ needs are met without interruption, we will be extending our production hours on Thursday evenings. Additionally, our After-Hours Pickup shed will remain accessible 24 hours for easy pickup of completed orders. We will also ensure that staff is available from 8:30 AM on Fridays to process new orders efficiently.
We thank you for your understanding and support as we undertake to be “nosei b’ol” with Acheinu Bais Yisroel. May we only hear besuros tovos, yeshuos, v’nechamos.
Sincerely,
Binyomin Heinemann
