[COMMUNICATED] by Yitzy Stern. He’s back! Yup – it’s Boruch. And once again, Boruch is learning. This time, however, it’s all about Sukkos. On this album, molded after the legendary Boruch tapes of Rabbi Shmuel Kunda z”l, the halachos and minhagim of Sukkos come to life in classic Boruch style, brimming with humor and wit. Join Boruch as he does his Sukkos preparations, while constantly learning along the way.
Being that this album comes after a long line of legendary tapes, an immense amount of talent was drafted to make certain that it would live up to it’s great legacy. The album was produced by Shimmy Shtauber, acclaimed for his stellar production of When Zaidy Was Young 3, also a posthumous release of Rabbi Kunda z”l and was written by Rabbi Kunda’s sons. The songs were crafted by staunch Kunda “Talmidim”, who carefully analyzed his wondrous ways and constructed lyrics that would have made him proud. Additionally, a number of “Kunda impersonators” were brought in, each contributing their part in making the story as Kunda-like as possible. Don’t be surprised if at certain points of the album you will have to relisten to parts to convince yourself that it is indeed not the real Rabbi Kunda! What kind of results come forth from such a pool of talent and collaborators? A truly authentic masterpiece!
So! What is Osher the Kvetch doing with a pile of rocks? Why is Mr. Gazook in trouble again? What’s up with Mailman Murray, Laibel and Zevy Lazoo? Sit back and listen, and you too will surely learn a new Halacha or two. And for you adult fans by the way, when you’re done, you might want to let your kids can listen too!
