The bomb squad was called to the Spruce Street area Wednesday evening after a pair detonated bleach bombs, sources tell TLS. Police recived a call of shots fired in the area and arrived to find two people detonating home made explosives, and the bomb squad was dispatched to the area.

The road was closed for several hours until the bombs squad cleared the area, including detonating one of the Aluminum Foil Bleach Bombs, which are made of a dangerous mixture of foil balls and bleach.

There are no reports of any injuries from the explosions, but the pair – one adult and one juvenile – were arrested.
