BOE to appoint new member to fill vacant seat

The Board of Education will be appointing a new member this evening to fill a vacant seat, a Board official told TLS.

Two candidates are vying to fill the seat of Board member Jakobowitz, who resigned.

Avraham Sharaby and Moshe Bender are the two candidates who filed a request for the position.

The one chosen for the seat will serve out the term of Jacobowitz.

The meeting will be held at 7:30PM at the High School.
