The Lakewood BOE has released new Requests For Qualifications for all non public services. “The Board would like to see as many new vendors as possible so that we can improve both the quality and quantity of our services to the non public schools”, a board official said.
In 2010-11, the BOE approved Bayada Nursing, Psych Ed, and Tree of Knowledge into the Lakewood District. In 2011-12, no RFPs were sent out. This year’s RFP’s were sent out in January but were not properly advertised, the board says.
The Board has therefore now re-issued them and is seeking additional vendors to apply. There is no deadline for the current RFQ, however it is recommended to apply as early as possible so as to be able to get set up for the new school year. TLS.
Is the RFP available online?
These must be publicized and the public must know where, in which papers, online, etc. If not legal problems could ensue.
