10:24 p.m. The Election website is currently down due to the heavy traffic. However, TLS has just received word that Zlatkin, Seitler, Fink and Ganzalez are hundreds of votes ahead at this time. We will continue to bring you all further details as quickly as possible.

  1. The write in candidate against Ada G. is now Carl Fink. Mr. Friedman is to be included in the top slate. Everything else should remain the same. Please be aware, this change is promoted by the VAAD only, and not the Irgud Hamosdos.

  5. This is an underhanded, unauthorized attempt to split the oilam’s vote.

    The Vaad has not and is NOT making an endorsement. The Vaad is honoring its promise to defer to the Igud on all Education matters.

    As the Igud states in their official endorsement signed by Rabbi Schenkollewski, the Igud consulted with key members of the Vaad before deciding, as a courtesy, and to maintain Kehilla unity.

    Please follow the Igud endorsement as per the signs hanging all over town, and as per Rabbi Schenkoleski’s personal phone calls.

    The above can be confirmed with the members of the Vaad.

  13. The state dropped so much money from our town, and the BOE is just making up the difference so that there will be no loss of services to ALL of us. It may be that ‘A FEW’ VAAD members are supporting the LAC, but only because they HAVE to. They cannot speak out publicly on this issue, or else they will lose out in June when they want to have ‘EVERYONE’ on board to support Bob Singer in his challenge against Hershel. If you can’t understand who you are voting for and why, then perhaps you should just stay home and skip today’s vote. Leave it to the people who know what they are doing!!

  15. The Vaad will endorse Singer, but they will lose in a landslide. The grassroots organization is in place for the most massive campaign in LKWD you’ve ever seen.

    I remind you of Christie’s overwhelming majority in Lkwd, despite the endorsement of Corzine by the Vaad and Yungerman4Corzine.

    The people are fed up with the corruption, with Catapult, and taxes.

    Call this the Lakewood version of the Tea Party.

    WE ARE SICK AND TIRED OF BEING RIPPED OFF BY THE GOVERNMENT!!!

  40. Because these guys will open up the bidding for more companies, so that Catapult doesn’t have a monopoly.

    Maybe you ask, what’s wrong with a monopoly?

    Well,

    1. They can charge the township whatever they want,, there’s no competition…….. more taxes for everyone

    2. They can pay the teachers as little as they want, the teachers can’t find any other jobs anyway cuz there is no other company that can provide the services and hire teachers to do so.

    3. They don’t have to provide services to the kinderlach, cuz either way they won’t be fired for educational malpractice cuz there is no other company to take them over, so long as they have the monopoly.

    There are more reasons, but due to the fact that the FBI monitors this site, I will not disclose them.

    Thank you thank you thank you Lakewood for finally bringing down Catapult.
