Blue Friday Honors Lakewood Police Sergeant Thomas D’Elia

The Director and Founder of Copline Inc., Stephanie Samuels highly recommended Sergeant Thomas D’Elia to be honored in the morning (12/29/2017) segment of 101.5 #BlueFriday for his participation in this years Copline’s New Year’s Eve Run for the Call at the Point Pleasant Beach Broadwalk.

Sgt. Thomas D’Elia has participated as part of Team Copline in the Washington DC Run for the Badge benefiting the Fallen Officers Memorial Fund and has run at midnight on New Years Eve for Copline, raising money for them each year. Copline is the only national hotline for police officers that is completely confidential as they are not a rescue line so the lines are not traced or pinged. Last month Copline received calls from 22 different states including New Jersey.

Sgt. Thomas D’Elia has been a tremendous asset for Copline and his generosity of his time has helped Copline reach across the country and even across the world, he participated in the NATAL America Run For Color located in Israel. Sgt. D’Elia continues to bring honor to both the Lakewood Police Department and the badge.
