    • it’s hatzalas nefoshois many times Bikur cholim is able to procure blood in emergency situations thanks to their connections and their contributions toward the overall blood supply

    • there is a teshuvah from reb moshe were he says that donating blood is ok becuase in the end of the day its good for the body. (women he klers about but for men there is no problem)

    • What I really don’t get is why do you feel the need to put in your two cents? The Bikur Cholim organization has their own Rabbis and so does the lakewoodscoop, so this post must have been approved by some rabbis and then comes along moish frumsteen and says

“The tzibur is reminded to ask Dass Torah prior to making a chavalah.

Who asked for your opinion especially if their are lives to be saved. how would it make you feel that after 120 you see that you C”V caused someones life to be extinguished because someone didn’t donate blood after seeing your post or even worse you C”V see that your own life……….. SERIOUSLY THINK before you post

  1. Mr take two, any Rov of note would allow his name to be published. It’s a halachic question and sharing your emotional feelings is totally irrelevant. Daven with emotion and follow halacah with conviction and after seeking guidance! Hatzlocah ubracah!
