BITTERSWEET: As Shiva concludes, the son of Harav Shmuel Yehuda Levin ZT”L, Rav Mordechai, is appointed as new Rosh Yeshiva in Telshe, Chicago [VIDEOS]

With the culmination of Shiva for Rav Shmuel Yehuda Levin Zt”l this afternoon, it was announced in Yeshiva that his son Rav Mordechai Shlita will take his place as Rosh Yeshiva, and his brother Rav Yitzchok Zev Shlita will join as a member of the Hanhalah of Telshe Yeshiva and will have a vote on decisions made in the Yeshiva.

Rav Mordechai, a son-in-law of Rav Yossel Bursztyn, Rosh HaYeshiva of Mesivta of Lakewood, began saying the 1st-Year Bais Medrash Shiur a few years ago, and he will now move up and give the highest Shiur.
