  1. Yehuda is a special person he walks every shabbos to kimbal to make sure everyone is ok and his family is even better they know that anytime his phone can ring and out the door he goes

  2. Mr Mayor when does chevriem who does outstanding calls ( min 75 calls a day thats 450 calls a week and thats only in the summer forget the winter my calculater broke on the winter numbers ) for the coumminty and for lakewood police department and they go out in morning in day and in night times to ( they go out 1 am 2 am 3,4,5, am too ) and they take out time from there work and from the familey’s time when do they get a nice plaque.

  3. are you going to pack the hall with all your members.

Bikur Cholim and especialy Y kazsirer did not ask for this plauqe. yes it was earned and most probably forced to accept the presentation . As part of Bikur Cholim we (all volunters) have rules of privacy(we cant go home and tell anyone where we were and what we know- not even our spouse) and we prefer to stay out of the lime light.

If we bump into somone we helped, we dont bring it up unless they do. That is our success. Helping out people in need and then minding our own business as soon as the “call” is over.

People as well as professionals trust us because of this.

and i am sure Chaverim is also due one
    But dont go begging.

  4. Kudos to Bikur Cholim what a wonderful organization!

(To all those complaining about why some other organization didn’t get an award – There are hundreds of wonderful organizations in Lakewood that ALL deserve awards. Obviously there was a reason why this award was presented at this time.)

  5. Well here is another volunteer organization getting recognized again. What ever happen to recognizing all of the volunteers that have been volunteering in Lakewood for 15, 20, 25, etc……. years what do they get.

  6. To Joey I’m assuming you’re not a chaveirim member because chaveirim did receive a proclamation as well from the township and state.

  7. to number 8

the chevreim org does not publicize the work when they see people on the street they don’t mention a word i think they do an unbelievable job and cheveirim is not asking for this i am asking on behalf on Lakewood and the whole community and don’t forget that the committee works for us we pay there benefits and they salary so if they will honor bekiur cholim then they can honor cheveirim
