Bicyclist critically injured after being struck by vehicle in Lakewood (PHOTOS)

2016-10-01-photo-00002893[VIDEO BELOW] A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured this evening, officials confirm.

The man was struck about 9PM on Williams Street near Evian Court. The biker – said to be a caretaker in multiple Shuls in Lakewood – was reportedly found unconscious, and paramedics were requested to the scene.

The patient is being transported to MMCSC with paramedics.

The area is being shut, and LPD’s Traffic Safety division was requested, along with CSI and the Prosecutor’s Office. Misaskim is not responding.

  1. Can we PLEASE get lights up on Williams Street, This is a grave situation!!!! We all know it’s dangerous – but we need to get word to the politicians that they needs to do somthing! With the taxes we pay, there should be enouogh $ to cover adequate lighting for eveyone’s safety!

  2. It was supposed to be closed and all of the media sources said it would be after a brilliant plan was hatched. In reality it wasn’t closed and no work was done over Shabbos

  3. around 9 years ago,i was involved in property management-, and i met jerry standing waiting for work

    he was such a honest and pleasant person, started doing work around my house. I introduced him to my shul- and we hired for cleaning, The rest is history , as he branched out to other shuls and yeshivas as well

    i think it’s a obligation of Hakras hatov, from all of us that benefited from him to make sure he has proper funeral arrangements
