Beware of Scam

Local residents are reporting to TLS bikes and other items stolen from outside their home over the past couple of days, shortly after they received a knock from an unknown person at the door.

Scammers and thieves will sometimes send someone to knock on random doors to see if the owners are home, and then look for a point of entry.

On Friday, TLS posted surveillance video of a woman knocking on a door early in the morning, though it’s unclear if this incident was a scam or not.

If in doubt, always call police.
