BEWARE: Missionaries Using Devious New Tactic to Lure In Frum Lakewood Residents

Missionaries are increasing their attempts to target frum Jews in the Lakewood area, with TLS learning of a nefarious new attempt that could lure in unwitting residents.

In recent days, residents in the Albert Ave. area have received an innocent looking business card, ostensibly from a home cleaning service that urges residents to call a “new number” which is listed on the back of the card.

According to residents who called the number, instead of reaching a cleaning service, they were instead connected to a missionary who urged them to attend church services and pushed them to accept non-Jewish religious materials into their home.

It happened here. 14 members of my Yeshivish Shul converted. When I confronted them and asked how they could do such a thing they replied, “A stranger quoting passages from the Bible told me too.

You realy kind of wonder what these clowns are thinking. After all these years their success rate is 0. You’d imagine they would hae something better to do with their time than preaching to people who all know way to much to be fooled by their distorted readings of a text in a language they don’t inderstand.
