To ensure that all children under the age of 18 get a nutritious breakfast and lunch while the schools are closed, state-certified meals will be distributed by Gelbstein’s Bakery.
There are over 25 locations around Lakewood that will have both breakfast and lunch. Each child can just come up to the table, one at a time, take their meals home and enjoy.
All the meals were approved by the State of NJ Department of Agriculture SSO to ensure the children will be served a nutritious meal during these trying times, at no cost.
A list of the locations where the meals will be available, is posted below. Meals will be available between 10:00 AM-12:00 PM.
