The Levaya will be taking place Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the 7th Street Chapel. The Aron will then be flown to Eretz Yisroel via JFK airport at 4:30 p.m.

His year I was zoche to watch him simchas torah in the Chestnut Shul. Despite being so sick he portrayed true simchas hatorah!! His children Shea Yisroel Meir and the others (whom I don’t know by name) were so devoted to their father! They would spend days with him caring for him and learning with him and either being by his side or taking him out when possible. Just by watching how their children took care of him was a testament to how he raised his children. May he be a mailetz yosher for his wife and special children and all of klal yisroel!!

He was a great guy. He just had a magic, he was, like, everybody’s good friend. He was so friendly to his sons’ friends. He was just a yummy, huggable, loveable person. His sons are tachshitim, one by one, Moshe, BC, Mordy, Chanaia, Yisroel Meir & Shia. Yehi Zichro Boruch. Dudi B.

We also can’t forget, his daughter was married to HoRav HaGaon R’ Zalman Fishman, a”h, who did more with his short life than most men do in 20 full lives. This is a very special family, in more ways than one.
What a open house the manies’s have, anybody was always welcome to them with smile! They r the example of hachnosas orchim, the simplicity is what defined them. And they have wonderful kids one by one who learned by example of such a great man!

After Shacharis the next morning they will all be going to Brooklyn and sitting shiva for the remainder of the time there @ 1546 52nd Street.

I know the family well. They have the most wonderful chilldren and grandchildren, who are constantly there to help them. Their daughter Rochel is married to a very chashuva yungerman by the name of Daniel Cohen from Detroit. They should only hear “besuras tovas”. A guten moed.

i have known mr and mrs manies for many many years.Their home was always open to all,when anyone entered their door they were made to feel special.Mrs Manies always has a smile on her face,she will always have time to talk to you,her sense of humor is awesome you can’t help but love her,Hashem should give her and her family nechomo and only send them simchos.
Rav Chanania in Yerushalayim will start Shiva motzei Chag in Eretz Yisroel l for one day till Tuesday nite and then fly to Boro Park to sit with his family

Shacharis Wednesday morning will be at Mordechais house @ 615 Caranetta Drive in Lakewood at 8:00 Mrs. Manies, Mordechai, Moishe, Chanania and Rochel Cohen will all be in Lakewood at the time.
Mincha will also be at the same address @ 2:00. After that the family will be going to sit Shiva in Boro Park at 1546 52nd street
R Shmuel’s unique qualities and love for life reached all the way to London. His incredible drive for Torah and Mitzvos should be an example to us all.
This man’s chessed throughout his life both through tzedoko and hachnosas orchim as well as all the other off the record things he did for bein odom lechaveiro, should be a meilitz yosher for us all.
