Baruch Dayan Ha’emes: R’ Shmuel Katz Z’L

candle mediumBaruch Dayan Ha’emes: We regret to inform you of the Petirah of R’ Shmuel Katz Z’L, who was Niftar this eveening after a lengthy illness. R’ Shmiel Z’L, of Flatbush and recently staying with his children in Lakewood, was 61. His children in Lakewood are R’ Volvie Katz, Son in law R’ Kalman Muschel and son in law R’ Dovid Hoffman. 

The Levaya will be taking place tomorrow morning at 9:30 AM at the Midwood Chapel in Flatbush, (Avenue M and Coney Island), and the Kevurah will be taking place in Lakewood.

The family will be sitting Shivah until Sunday at 56 Glen Terrace and from Sunday on in Flatbush at 1410 Avenue N.

  1. What a special person! Till his last day he thanked Hashm for every minute he had! He was always b’simcha and dedicated his last 7 yrs of his life when he was sick to be mesameach others who were sick. His famous words were ‘thank u hash-m I love you and I don’t complain’. Lakewood Hatzolah and doctors were so dedicated to him until the last minute. May he be a mailitz yosher for klal yisroel!

  2. Baruch dayan haemes. He was a major baal bitachon and he had alot of yisurim in the past couple years , and still he always kept a upbeat attitude , I really learnt alot from him. May his neshomo have an aliya.If anyone knows aprox what time the kevura will be in lkwd I would appreciate if u would post it Yehi zichro baruch
