My husband was a good friend of Avi’s and this was a man who suffered so much and never let anyone know. He always had a smile – even when he was in obvious pain. He was so happy for everyone else . Baruch Dayan Ha’emes Avi – you affected all of us and made us better people beacause of it.

This is terrible news!!! He was a real tzaddik who always accepted what Hashem gave him…always replied “Boruch Hashem” when asked how he was doing! He was a truly great man and the son of a truly great man (HoRav Shlomo Zweibak shlita R”M in Yeshivas zichron Meyir Moutaindale)He will be very very missed and never forgotten!!!!BDE
His wife is from a very choshuve family here in Lakewood-the Lefton family.
He was a tzadik. he was there to help everybody.
His shver is from lakewood, rabbi reuven lefton who is big talmid chochom. His father is Rebbe in mountaindale, who is also a big talmid chochom. He was a selfless person. Always helping others.
I can’t believe it! Avi was so strong-he kept fighting his machlah with a smile.
He was a loving, caring, friendly person. He was a great man, yet nobody was too small for him-he made all those around him feel important.
May Avi be a maylitz yosher for his family and gontz klal yisroel.
