  3. Oy. What a loss to the world. He was a straight person. he was A Rosh Yeshiva who you were able to develop a sheichos to. How you would dance a a talmids chasuna.

  4. Even though its purim I have a hard time not being sad.
Although I was never in the Rosh Yeshiva’s ZT”L shiur and didn’t have a personal shaychis with the Rosh Yeshiva ZT”L because I left after highschool there is one thing that realy touched my heart every thime the Rosh Yeshiva ZT”L met someone that the Rosh yeahiva ZT”L knew would how I was doing he would ask him about me to see how I was doing

    Bourch Dayan Emes

    A true tragety

  5. Oy vey how sad!
I was in his shiur approx 25 years ago in MLB. He said a shiur with such a geshmak. He was a person that you could learn from his every move. One time in shiur, a memory that just came to mind, he was saying a shtickel torah about why a Rambam leaves out a certain Halacha. He opened the Rambam and starting turning pages. Then he looked up and with a big smile (I see this in front of me now, with tears in my eyes) and with a shining face he says “I can’t show you where the Rambam doesn’t say this Halacha!”
    A loss for Klal Yisroel!!

  6. I was told by one of the Rosh Yeshiva’s ZT”L grandsons told me that there was a change in plans as far as the lvaya goes it will be mon on shushan purim but not at 11 he said that they don’t know what time yet

  7. BDE, there are no words to describe the deep loss I am feeling. The Rosh Hayeshiva was a true masmid and a anav. He brought himself down to each and every talmids level. I heard from one of my chaveirim that befoe his daughters chasunah, the rosh yeshiva called him to ask if he was coming to the chasunah. Before the talmid was able to reply the Rosh Yeshiva said “not that I need people there but I want my friends there”

May he be a mailtz yosher for the family, his talmidim and klal yisroel.
