PHOTOS: Two vehicles parked at the Glatt Bite plaza were damaged this morning when a bank’s large overhead store sign fell off the storefront and came crashing down on top of them.
A store-owner in the plaza tells TLS one of the vehicle’s were occupied when the steel Hudson City Savings Bank sign landed on it, but the driver was uninjured. Luckily, there were no customers walking underneath it at the time.
It’s unknown what caused the sign to fall off. TLS-CCP.
And I thought only interest rates were falling ……..

Could they sue the bank for the amount it costs to fix their cars?
I guess that’s one way to reduce overhead!
of course they can sue, but my guess is there insurance company will just deal with it, and the bank can pay there deductable

True – the sign fell today – but it won’t show up for 11 business days. Db
