Baking Matzos The Minyan Shelanu Way

matzah baking minyan picPHOTOS of this afternoon’s Matzah baking at Minyan Shelanu. The group, under the leadership fo Reb Chaim Abadi, rolled out the Matzos and then baked them right there at the Minyan Shelanu headquarters. But unlike in a Matzah bakery, the Matzos were baked in portable grills.

The Matzos were baked under the guidance and supervision of Reb Chaim Abadi Shlita.

Is that a typo “under the guidance of Reb Chaim Abadi” – is that who is shown here supervising? Doesn’t look like it…

The matzah baking had nothing to do with Minyan Shelanu.

Rabbi Yitzchak Abadi Shlit”a just used Minyan Shelanu’s premises to do the baking which he usually does in Israel.

The matzot are “sefardi” matzot baked under the supervision of Rabbi Yitzchak Abadi Shlit”a. He bakes these matzot every year – as do many sfardim.
