VIDEO: Last night, over 20 Baalei Batim of R’ Lazer Apter’s Shiur, and others, departed Lakewood for a week-long Yarchei Kallah event in Eretz Yisroel. A full program is planned complete with learning, Shiurim and Shmuessim from distinguished Roshei Yeshivos and Rabbanim, as well as private audiences with Gedolei Yisroel.
The Yarchei Kallah was conceptualized by a group of Baalei Batim in Lakewood and is being lead by renowned Magid Shiur Rav Eliezer Apter Shlita.
Days will feature an inspiring and invigorating schedule of shiurim, including morning Daf Yomi, Shiurim on contemporary Halachah, and Divrei Chizuk. The two learning sedarim will focus on the Sugyos of Meleches Shabbos. Shiurim on various topics will be given by leading Roshei Yeshivos and Rabbanim amongst them Hagaon Reb Moshe Shternbuch Raavd Eida Hachredis Yerushalayim, Hagaon Reb Chaim Wolkin, Mashgiach Yeshivas Ateres Yisroel, Tolna Rebba, Hagaon Reb Eliezer Silver Rosh Yeshivas Derech Chochmo, Hagaon Reb Yehuda Areyh Dunner, Rav Divrei Shir Bnei Brak, Hagaon Reb Pinchos Breuer, Hagaon Reb Reuven Loichter and Hagaon Harav Yehoshua Newirth, mechaber “Shemiras Shabbos K’Hilchasa”.
On Tuesday, in addition to a full day of learning, the Yarchei Kallah members are scheduled to daven at Kever Rochel, led by Hagaon Harav Yisroel Meir Partzovits from Bnei Brak.
On Wednesday, they will travel to Bnei Brak where they will meet with, and hear Shiurim from Gedolim, including Maran Rav Chaim Kanievsky shlita, Maran Hagaon Reb Ahron Leib Steinman, Maran Hagaon Reb Michel Yehuda Lefkowitz and Maran Hagaon Reb Nissim Karelitz. They will also visit with Roshei Yeshivas Ponevez Hagaon Reb Gershon Eidelstein and Hagaon Reb Berel Povarsky as well as the kevarim of Maran Rav Shach, the Steipler and others.
The closing Mesiba of the Yarchei Kallah will be honored with the presence of Hagaon Harav Reb Ezriel Aurebach.
The group just landed in Eretz Yisroel. (10:05 a.m. EST).

why cant lakewood join the rest of the world. we have a mir yrchei kallah and agudah .? why do we need to spend more money for only 20 ballei batim who will pay more for expenses then joing a larger group and the precious time of gedolei torah who are already meeting with the other grps? in this economy its time to join forces
