Authorities Investigating Stabbing Which Leaves One in Serious Condition

lpd suv tls Police this evening are investigating a stabbing on Laurel Avenue. At about 9:15 p.m., police and emergency personal were summoned to the area of Laurel Avenue for the report of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, police discovered that the victim suffered a severe stab wound to the chest.

A K9 dog from the Sherrifs department was requested for the tracking of the suspect.

Police are looking for possibly two suspects believed to be Hispanic males in their 20’s one wearing a White t-shirt with a hat, an official confirms to TLS.

EMS and Monoc Paramedics transported the patient to Jersey Shore University Medical Center where he is listed in serious condition.

Lakewood Police Department, Ocean County Prosecutors Office as well as Major Crimes are investigating the incident.
