Authorities are investigating at least two shed burglaries in Lakewood this evening.
The burglaries reportedly occurred sometime Friday night in the Hearthstone neighborhood.
Approximately $3,000 worth of tools was stolen from at least one of the sheds, a neighbor says.
Lakewood Police and Sheriffs are investigating.
Anyone with information should call the Lakewood Police Department.

I have a wireless alarm system with enough reach to read the status of my shed sensors. I also have 2 out of reach solar night motion detector spotlights that are a great deterrent. I control everything from my phone so I can disarm the shed when I need it. Otherwise it sends an immediate silent alarm (no call-back) to send the police. I was thinking of adding a crocodile but it’s another mouth to feed so I passed on that. My dog also does a good job and he doesn’t have to be anywhere near the shed to detect any issues.

I wish my sheds will be emptied out; my sons have been Baruch HaShem married and out of the house for years but my sheds are still full with their stuff, for years they say their taking it but it never empties out; and their bar mitzvah seforim they always say they have to get more bookcases and everything without a name they claim is their brothers.
