Authorities Investigating Possible Home Invasion, Shooting in Lakewood

csi 2Authorities are investigating a possible home invasion and shooting that occurred at a home in Lakewood, Detective Sergeant Greg Staffordsmith says.

Authorities responded to the Route 70 and New Hampshire Avenue area home yesterday, but the incident apparently occurred about a week prior and wasn’t reported until yesterday, Staffordsmith says.

“We are investigating a possible home invasion that occurred during the week of April 1st,” Staffordsmith told TLS. Bullets reportedly also struck the home.

Lakewood’s Detective Bureau and CSI are investigating the incident.
