Authorities Investigating Multiple Home Invasions in Lakewood

Authorities are investigating multiple robberies over Shabbos, TLS has learned.

Home robberies were reported in the area of Hope Chapel Road, as well as in the Raintree neighborhood.

In one incident, a homeowner awoke to noise, and came out of his bedroom. As he approached the foyer area, the robber pointed a gun on him and then fled the home. It appears he may have made entry by removing a door to the home.

In another incident, a homeowner woke up to find two black males in his home. upon seeing the homeowner, they fled.

These robberies come just days after home invasions in Toms River.

Authorities tell TLS it appears the Lakewood incidents are connected, though they are investigating whether the incidents in Lakewood are connected to those in Toms River.

Someone mentioned on the previous post about guns in the house. My Rav said Lakewood isn’t dangerous there’s no crime so no reason. These posts are weekly. Lakewood is not safe

Al pi Halacha if a robber breaks in, it is pikuach nefesh. It is permitted to kill the robber even on shabbos.

the police are here to uphold the law, but the law is that guns are permitted, so why can’t the police just say go with the law and get guns?

I was up at 5:30am and heard the first police cars arriving around 5:45am at the Hope/County Line and Avis Ave areas. I counted at least 8 and they seemed to have been blanketing this entire area. Had a feeling that I would see a story like this on TLS today.

Well the ones in Toms River were white males because u can tell there skin color , the next we’re black males . So it’s just the youth getting bolder and bolder.. I hope they know they have a whole life to live and if they get caught don’t want to live it behind bars . May God bless everyone’s homes and be protected . May they stray away from there wrong paths
