Thats 2 fires almost back to back. I heard and saw firetrucks racing down Princeton Avenue last evening and TLS actually had a story about a fire in Coventry last night. So thats quite a day…. sorry a night- for the Lakewood firefighters. We thank you for all that you do.

I don’t know what went on over there. 509 was upset at a few things. Several times I saw him in animated discussion with his buddies 719 & 1133. I’m glad it all worked out at the end. Truthfully, anyone who runs out, at night, on a volunteer basis, gets all the credit in the world from me.

frankly, who cares what 509 thinks. He is not a Lakewood Firefighter. He shouldn’t have been that close anyways. EMT’s just get in the way

If that’s how you feel maybe it would be better for the FF if they didn’t have ant emt on location. That way if a ff gets hurt that ff can wait 15 min for medical help. Personaly I was there as an emt and would Not have minded to stay in my warm bed. The emt are there for the ff and if they are not wanted please file the proper request with your CHIEF.

the fire got put out, the building is still standing (something other towns can’t accomplish), no one got hurt and everyone went home. Why throw mud around?
