Authorities Investigating Fatal Toms River Crash; Traffic Alert

Authorities in Toms River are investigating a fatal accident this morning.

“We are currently at the scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash,” police released. “Whitesville Road is closed in both directions between Riverwood Drive and Cox Cro Road. Detours will be in place until at least 11 am. The overflow traffic is also causing delays on Route 9, both North and South.”

“More information will be released as it becomes available. Family members have not yet been notified.”
