Authorities this morning are investigating fatal accident that occurred at an industrial plant in Lakewood, TLS has learned.

At approximately 7:30 AM, emergency personnel were called to Cambridge Pavers on Prospect Street in Lakewood for the reports of a man unresponsive after an incident involving a machine. The Lakewood Fire Department and EMS responded to the scene.

The employee was extricated but his injuries proved fatal, police confirmed.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released.

Lakewood’s Detective Bureau, CSI and OCPO are investigating.
