PHOTO: A woman attempting to make a deposit at a Lakewood bank was assaulted and nearly robbed, but fought off her attacker, Detective Steve Wexler confirms to TLS.
At about 11:30 AM this morning, a woman got out of her vehicle to make a deposit at the Sovereign Bank on Route 70, when she was struck on the head with an object by another woman who attempted to rob her.
The victim however managed to fight of her attacker by punching her in the face, Wexler says. The suspect then fled.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with a head injury.
The suspect is described as a white female, approximately 5′ 5′, and fled in a newer model white SUV.
Lakewood Detectives and the CIU are investigating the crime.

#2, True, there are schools all over, but poor writing and spelling are all over the place. It’s not limited to any particular group or class anymore. I even see incorrect writing in newspapers! Rules of writing, grammar and spelling just don’t seem to matter anymore. It can drive the rest of us crazy when we read it, though!
