Authorities investigating apparent armed robbery, stabbing in downtown Lakewood (PHOTOS)

As first reported on our News Alerts, an investigation is underway into a reported armed robbery and stabbing in Downtown Lakewood.

Shortly before 3 PM, police responded to the area of 2nd Street and Monmouth Avenue for the reports of an armed robbery and a party injured, police said.

Upon arrival, police located the victim who was reportedly stabbed. The suspect fled.

The victim was transported by EMS to MMCSC with non life-threatening injuries.

Lakewood’s Detective Bureau is investigating.

  1. why am i being redirected to Instagram to watch the videos? something recently changed. I used to be able to be able to watch vids while remaining on the TLS page.
