Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced today that the victim of a homicide that occurred in Lakewood on Friday, has been identified as Eric Galarza, age 36, of Lakewood.
Lakewood Township Police Officers found Galarza suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at a Lakewood residence. Galarza was transported to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus where he was pronounced dead.
This is an active and ongoing investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, Lakewood Township Police Department and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department.
