An executive of E & K Agency of Eatontown and Lakewood, recently was honored for his contribution and commitment to the insurance industry. Kenneth R. Auerbach, a managing director and general counsel of E & K Agency, was named the Professional Agent of the Year by the Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey (PIANJ), one in a series of awards received by Auerbach in the last few years. Auerbach is president of the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents, an association that represents more than 10,000 agencies and 100,000 professionals. IFA.
