    • That has got to be the stupidest thing I’ve heard today.

Would you also say that to the heart surgeon who forgets to put someone’s heart back together after the surgery?????

A cop who cant uphold the BASICS of being a cop, which is to serve and PROTECT, should leave the force asap.

      Just (moderated) ridiculous.

  1. Wow a cop from NY has an opinion! Why should NJ or a town in NJ care what some NY cop thinks? He’s not from the area doesn’t understand the toad or wild life on the road this man was speeding on. Talk about beating a dead horse.

    • People keep commenting just to show their stupidity. Nobody says he wasn’t speeding. You don’t need to be from New Jersey to know that you don’t delay a woman in advanced labor for 9.5 minutes.
(But maybe you need to be from New Jersey to believe that Jewish babies deserve the death penalty for their dad’s traffic violation).

    • Wow a Becky from NJ has an opinion! Why should NY or a City in the State of NY or a cop in NY in the State of NY care about what some Becky from NJ thinks about NY or NY cops? Your not from around the NY City area and you don’t understand the toad of wild life there. Therese a lot more wild life on the streets of NYC. Talk about beating a dead horse.

  2. Where is common sense???

Instead of delaying them , and putting the life of the mother and baby in danger, the policemen should have taken them to the hospital at the lead with the sirens blaring. Shame and disgrace Pure anti Semitic
Should be charged with endangering mic of 2 human beings There is no other explanation. Must be fired at once

  3. He got a ticket, his baby is fine, his wife is fine. Why is he making such a big deal. All ended good. Be thankful. That’s it! He doesn’t like that the cop gave him a ticked baby could have been I. Danger either way, speeding, stopped for traffic ticket whatever. But all of that doesn’t matter. Baby is good, mom is good. At what point do we stop pointing fingers and wanting to see people hung at the stake and just be thankful. Stop people just stop. Things happen we don’t agree with all the time but there was no harm done. Everyone survived and the ending was good.

  4. NYPD:

“Highway 2 Adam to central, K?
    Go ahead Adam.
    10-88 on Squankum Eastbound.
    Copy, 23:55.
    2 Adam to central, K?
    Standby, Adam.
    10-4.
    2 Adam?
    10-84, 10-89, 10-87, transporting aided to Monmouth
    10-53 negative. No injuries.
    Copy Adam 23:58.
    2 Adam to central 97H.
    2 Adam going 98.
    Copy Adam 00:05 hours.

In other words: In pursuit of vehicle at 11:55 PM. On scene, no accident, other, unit to Monmouth. Aided removed to ER. Resuming patrol at 12:05 AM.

  5. @HHH, originally i wouldv’e been ok with that too. But at this point, any apology is completely insincere and he (and the higher ups) obviously still don’t understand the problem. Therefore they are unsuited for their positiins

  6. OK. Enough everyone. The point was made. People make mistakes. We all understand it could have been handled better. Let’s move on & start focusing on the fact that these people are out there keeping us safe.

  7. To Lea: the reason why this thing is not over is because the cop never apologized to the citizan he is paid to protect for keeping her waiting in Pain in advanced Labor and putting her life and the life of her baby in Mortal Danger on top of that the Howell Police department Leadership who know better are being obstinate and Condoning his actions so what’s to stop this scenario from happening again?
