hey ppl!! what a wonderful way one can help hashems heilige children!!! the oppertunity of a life time! i have been working in camp schi for a few yrs now, and i can say it changed my life entirely. i recommend guys to try it out if they think they can handle special need kids. i cannot describe the feeling that goes through my body during the summer, seeing children who may be handicapped at home, while in camp theyr wheelchair is emty throught the day, its a seen i cant describe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To experience camp Schi is unlike anything else out there. The energy, fun, and pure goodness that goes on over there every second of the day is something that will follow u for the rest of your life!!
what is the youngest age that can work there.
Experiencing a summer in Camp Schi is life altering, from the minyanim to learning for the councelors, and then a fun packed day!!!! B’h I’m married now and every summer I miss it so much. The staff are unbelievable and the campers top it off!!!!!! You go in “alone” and come out at the end of the summer with a family which lasts a lifetime!!!!!!

I was a special needs counselor in another camp and had interactions with camp schi on trips and inter-camp games. The atmosphere in camp schi is amazing! As in most special needs camps. However on a side note- the feeling of going into the Yomim Na,ora’im knowing that you made a special childs summer and their family a easy time is an amazing feeling and great zchus!!!! Anyone interested pls apply asap
